Nope. That stuff is yours. Since they were gifts he, legally , doesn't have any claim to them. And quit answering his calls. If he persists in calling and/or e-mailing that's harrassment and you can get a no contact order. By the way, Zsa Zsa Gabor used to say that if YOU break off the engagement, you give back the ring. If HE breaks off the engagement, you give back the ring - but keep the diamond!

Keep the stuff he gave to you as gifts. You have the right to keep those but put them up so they don't keep bring you down. I've kept stuff that my ex gave me as gifts but that's good you have the ring back that's suppose to go back but the stuff you get as gifts are yours so tell him that and don't answer the phone when he calls and don't talk to him.

Whether or not you keep them is up to you. They were gifts given to you and as long as you dont feel emotional pain by hanging on to them, why give them back. Hes had his ring back, that was a sign of your commitment, which is now over, so thats fine, but the gifts - I think he is being a little spiteful there.
Next time he asks you for things back just say "Well I spent time and emotions on you - wheres my refund?"
See how he gets on with that!

If they were Christmas and birthday gifts then you are entitled to keeping the jewelry that he gave you. He's being what's known as an Indian giver.

You are expected to return the engagement ring, but the rest is yours to keep as they were gifts... Tell him to get over it and move on.......Actually, He's pretty shallow to even ask for them back......

Goodness, no. Let's be reasonable here, a gift is a gift, not a loan. Tell him to sue you in small claims court, then you can go on Judge Judy and she can rip him a new one ;)

Keep it or pawn it off, it's probably cheap junk metal anyway, this guy sounds like a turd. I'd never ask for it back, that's just stupidity out of anger. It sounds incredibly immature if he's letting his anger control his behavior.

Tell him you couldn't bear to keep any of the things he gave you AND you couldn't give them back either - they're just too painful to see everyday in your jewelry box.
Donate them to a worthy cause - a women's shelter, a retirement home, someone could use them or sell them....then tell him what you did!
Thank him for his generosity.
Good luck kiddo - hope you get past this jerk - view it as a new beginning.

If they were gifts, keep them.
The ring was a promise, that was broken, so the ring went back.
