i agree with some of those who posted: never UNSUBSCRIBE TO ANYTHING. that acknowledges that you've opened the blasted things, and they'll just keep coming back and you'll actually pass your addy on to even MORE spammers!!!
just mark such things as spam and be done with it, but don't be surprised either when yahoo allows them to re-enter in your mailbox anyway.

The unsubscribe button is a fake and you should never use it - it just tells these people your e-mail address is active. Thats why you're now bombarded. They sell your address on to other spammers. It's time to change your address! Never open an e-mail unless you know who its from. Just delete anything you don;t recognise. You need 3 e-mail addresses. The first is the one you get with your ISP. You keep this address strictly private. Most ISP's will let you change your address easily to stop the junk. The second address is for friends and family only, and when you have to register for programs. And the third is a free Yahoo address which you give out freely, and change every 3-6 months or so. Remember - you cannot unsubscribe to something you didn't subscribe to in the first place!

It does good for the ones you answer as now they know the e-mail is a working address and they can sell or pass on the address. Do not answer these e-mails in any way or try to unsubscribe. Better yet do not even open, just delete.

for a few weeks intently...then put the rest on spam. Eventually yahoo will start to knock those out for you and you won't get the bulk emails but you won't even get the good emails. ha. Nothing is perfect in an unperfect world.

I probably do about 20 a day. I can't tell if it does any good or not. Some of them say it takes up to 14 days to be removed. So I don't know if the ones I'm unsubcribing to are the same or new ones.

About 2.
But I have two separate emails. One I use strictly for personal stuff. The other I use for anything, so it doesn't matter if it gets filled up with spam.

You shouldn't be unsubscribing or replying to any of them; that just verifies that your email address is real.
