The character "i" represents an imaginary number.
I've gotten two possible solutions for this one - I just want to see which one is correct.

If just the 5i is divided by 2 then the answer is 4 + 5.5i

If the whole expression is divided by 2 then the answer is 2 + 4i

Brackets are useful to avoid misunderstanding of question.
Attempt 1 assumes:-
(3i + 4 + 5i) / 2
= (4 + 8i) / 2
= 2 + 4i
Attempt 2 assumes:-
3i + 4 + 5i /2
= 6i/2 + 5i/2 + 4
= 4 + 11 i/2
