I recently purchased a new 22in. L C D monitor. It seems my present graphic card does not support that high of resolution,
1680x1050 it only goes to1280 x 1024. Will i need to purchase a new graphic card to support this or is there another way to solve this? If I need a new card what do you suggest. Money is short as monitor cost me . Help, I would like to take advanage of my widescreen without the bars on top & bottom of screen while watching dvd's . Thanks

Try downloading the latest drivers for your card from the card vendor's or the chipset vendor's web site.

Old drivers tend to not have widescreen support, the newer versions have added it.
