I'm 29, a woman, and still love my cartoons! Especially anime!!!
And why ever not? I intend to watch them until I become a toothless old hag of at least....50 years old! Haha!

My father in law watches only cartoons. Nothing else. The Simpsons, anything on Nickelodeon. It's kinda odd. But oh well.
