make the same mistakes over and over again?

I'd say I LEARN the lesson, but I don't always apply it properly.
2 failed relationships: the first I cared too much, the second I tried too hard to be aloof and seemed to care too little.
Lesson from the first relationship learned, but again, not applied very well...

I thought I learned first time around but now that I step back and look at it I think I make the same stupid mistakes over and over again even though I make an effort not too.

Everything I've learned in this life, I've learned the hard way, and my troubles were mostly all brought on by poor choices on my part. So, in some cases, it took a couple of hard falls before I woke up and got with the program !

Half and half. I make all the same relationship mistakes over and over again and expect different results...(insanity)
I'm fine with most other stuff.

My tendency seems to bang my head against the wall repeatedly. I do learn the lesson eventually.

Your thinking of a redneck or a hillbilly. Intelligent people would of analyzed the situation and took the better recourse. Rednecks and hillbillies act with their heart and fun factor before they realize the cost was too high. Ask the prison inmates.
