my cousin is having very irregular periods. She didnt have one in two months and she got it today and she is passing clots the size of small golf balls, very bad abdomenal pain, and is using super heavy pads. She wont follow up with her doctor! she is always working. She is only 19. I know she isnt pregnant bc her husband is germany right now. what could it be??

I would strongly suggest having your cousin go to her doc., she might have fibroids. If she loses a lot of blood, she might become anemic.

My wife likes to do it in the shower when she's on her period and I've seen some pretty big clots come out. About the size of a quarter I'd say. I think it's pretty normal. You can always take a day of work to go to the doctor.

well sometimes people get clots during there period but not that size i would sugest going to the doctor today! just tell her that its a good idea too

They could be fibroid tumors...she needs to go to the doctor...
