I am freaking out here!!! Last season was the first season that I watched and now I am sooo addicted to that show now for some reason!!

Next season starts late: January or February of 2008. That way, they don't have to air repeats. They've also set a timetable for when the series will end. There will only be two more seasons.

There is going to be 3 more seasons and 16 episodes each. They will all run from January to May. If you are addicted to Lost this season, you really don't know what is up, until you watch season 1 & 2. They are available on dvd, each about 40 dollar range. Worth the buy.

Usually Lost comes back in October but the next season may not air until January. Lost has been renewed until 2010, 3 more seasons. There will be 16 episodes each season.

I just want to confirm what some other people said above. It is definitely February, not January, that the 4th season will be starting. This was confirmed by the producers of the show.

Damon L. (Producer) has said the season will start in February and it'll run 16 episodes with no interuptions.
The countdown for the show has started.
Damon & JJ have said they will do 48 more episodes.
Ending the show sometime in '09.

The next season I believe will start in January and run 16 consecutive episodes.
Three more seasons, each 16 episodes long, and IIRC each will start in January.
