Colts have lost there best player in defense in Cato june and they lost some other big players on defense.

new england they landed randy moss. for the first time in his career tom brady has a big target at wideout to throw the ball to. plus they have maroney in the backfield a serious upgrade over dillon and their defense will be as stout as always. wow the colts had a weak defense to begin with and had they played an nfc team with a better offense in the superbowl they wouldnt have been able to compete. they lost to dallas remember in the regular season. they lost so many defensive free agents no way they even make it to the afc championship game.

I am going to say the Patriots are the better team...but just by a little. Whether or not Patriots have dominating defensive players or not, it doesnt matter. Bellichick always bring out their best game when it matters. He makes his players and team the best they can be and that is why this team is so dangerous. If he can do it with Moss this year, then Bellichek will be known as one of the best coaches in NFL history period if not the best. Last year, Patriots barely lost to Colts. Patriots are actually a better team this year, but Colts is finding a way as well to improve on their defense as well without the use of superstars. It is always exciting to watch these two teams play, their game should be consider the superbowl. Now the question to ask is if you take out Peyton Manning and Tom Brady, who is the better team?

first of all the pats defence is old and they have no corners, so there for they got the recievers because they'll have to out score everyone. Second cato june is far from the colts best player. plus they never sign defensive players. not to mention they were the worst team against the run so hopefully they cant get worse. as long as peytons playin the colts now hold the advantage. colts........... oh i almost forgot that feildgoal thing we now have mr. clutch. i dont know what superbowl you guys watched but no nfc team can beat the colts, or any other afc team for that matter, but with that said peyton manning not the best quarterback in the league ha dont make me laugh. he is going to have alot of records before hes done.

right now on paper the patriots appear to be a better team. that does not mean they will win a matchup against the colts. sometimes passion can prevail and i think any game between the colts and the patriots will come down to a field goal.

some things that need to get cleared up:
If you think Peyton Manning isn't a great qb you are ignorant.
If you think Tom Brady isn't a great qb you are ignorant.
If you think the Patriots have no corners, realize that they have Asante Samuel, one of the best, and that you are ignorant. They also have Ellis Hobbs and he's pretty decent.
I know someone is going to say it, so I'll say it for you, I am ignorant.

Cato June their best player on defense... hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahaaha. He won't even start in Tampa Bay.

The only significant loss was Nick Harper, the rest were not that good and won't be hard to replace.

I give the edge to the Colts because they are the defending champions. We'll see what happens during the regular season.

I think that they're both great team, but I'll go with the Colts and the real reason it's because their the Super Bowl Champs and will make the playoffs, but won't go to the Super Bowl next time, and the pantherrs will make it to get their hands on the Patriots again for their loss to New England in Super Bowl XVII 32-29! GO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!!!

Definitely the Patriots because they have a good offense and defense, But for the colts they doesn't have a good offense nor a good defense. And for Payton manning, he is not as good as you think he is, He just simply won the Superbowl, and the MVP then you think he is good. I bet Vince Young can do better than him.

COLTS their dominance of the pats over the last 2 seasons will continue. Tony Dungy has some players on his bench that will step up cause dungy and the entire colts orginazation are geniuses at drafting and free agency

Have to say Pats even though colts won it all. Pats last year had not one receiver that was proven ,had long list on injuries on defense and they still went that far. They will be loaded next year.
