NBC and it's "low-rating" Apprentice show are parting ways.

It's no surprise in show-business like any business, once the parent company has made it's bucks(and NBC made a LOT of $$$$ off this circus), your dumped off at the side of the road like yesterdays newspaper...

I can understand NBC dropping the show because it has been apparently getting lower and lower viewership over the years. Of course, they can't continue to purchase the show if they aren't getting enough people watching it to attract enough advertising dollars.

While I personally have enjoyed the show being on over the years (sometimes I liked it more than others, and I always thought Trump was a bit of a conceited jerk.. but I enjoyed watching the tasks, etc)... I do understand that it's time has come. It is better for it to end now.. than to go on and on .. and be cancelled in the middle of a season because no one is watching.

At least they gave it a fair chance to keep trying... I'd rather see networks at least finish out a season and then cancel a show rather than just cancel it in the middle of a season and you never see the end :)

Besides.. it seems the big "reality" show genre is losing viewers all over.. not just the Apprentice series.. The "fad" is showing it's age..
