He would've been the highlight of the night at the Concert for George.

I don't think Chapman would've gotten past the EMI studios or Apple Studios security if he traveled to London.

His death was not related to their breaking up, but like eveything else in life, different events would have put him in different places at different times. His life continuing as a Beatle would have changed the course of his 'schedule' in in life and his assasin may have never had the oppurtunity to kill him.

Lennon's death had nothing to do with the split of The Beatles, but let's talk about what you asked. If The Beatles, as a group, were still together throughout the 1970's and of course in 1980, would that have made an impact on whether or not he would be alive today? Who knows? The possibilities could go on forever.

Here's one way of looking at it John Lennon would have turned 67 this year. If his health was good, I'd like to think he would still be around, maybe continuing to make music just as Bob Dylan does today. Or kicking back at the Dakota or at a home in Ireland with Yoko, just living life.

But he may have fallen into some health problems, we'll never know. It's sad to think that he has been gone for almost 27 years, and people are still feeling the influence, and the after effects of the shooting.

The Beatles splitting up had absolutely no influence on why Mark David Chapman decided to shoot him.

I don't think so, MDC went to a lot of effort to get to John and had already travelled a distance to kill him, lets say they didnt break up and John still stayed in the UK I dont think a nutter like MDC would let a little thing like that get in the way

You might want to rephrase your question. It's not like the Beatles would be around with George Harrison being six feet under and all.

I doubt it. Chapman was highly deranged, and was bent on killing Lennon. I hate to say that he would have carried out his plan one way or another...it would be great to see how John Lennon would be influencing music if he was still alive...though he still greatly influences it anyways.

he wasn't killed because he left the beatles he was killed by a fan. John actually said good morning to him and when he walked past him got shot in the back... Sad day for everyone who liked his music. Glad his son Julion sounds like his farther....
