At 28 weeks you dont need to worry about the position of the baby. Its after 34-36 weeks that the position becomes important as they still move up til that point. The placenta cant be moved. It may grow upwards giving the impression its moved, but you cant do anything to move so please dont try and you could do some damage!

I'm 29 weeks pregnant and the baby is still feet first. There's still plenty of time for baby to move around. Don't fret. At around 32-34 weeks if the baby still hasn't moved go see a chiropractor trained in the Webster technique. It's supposed to be a much a better way to get the baby to move, and much less painful than the doctor squishing your stomach to get the baby to move.

As for the placenta, as long as it isn't covering the cervical opening it's not an issue. If it is, they'll schedule a c-section for you. They'll also do a c-section if the baby is stubborn and refuses to move. It will all be fine, no matter how you deliver the baby.

The baby still has time to turn on it's own. But the low lying placenta may move on it's own. If not the Dr will discuss what needs to be done. A Dr will not turn a baby until a week or so before the due date.

Chances are that your placenta will correct itself and move up within the next few weeks, you should have been given extra scan dates to check this has happened. Unfortunatley if it doesnt move there is not a lot you can do about and will probably be given a c-section. Same with the baby he/she should move, but kneeling on all fours and swaying gently can help get the baby in the correct position

The placenta could move up, and transverse, you still have plenty of time for that baby to move around..Most of my babies were for a while, until they got around 34 weeks

29 weeks so still11 to go dont worry.the baby gets tired of the one position and likes to streach about.Dont forget we the patients wanted to be told more on hospital visits and sometimes all it does is cause unnessasary panic.my baby lay this way the day before she was due.it is a problem only in labour.for the most the baby turns itself. if closer to the time baby hasnt moved they will gently persued it by pushing on your tummy.if the baby proves impossible to move which is quiet rare they can do a section you and baby will be safe.it is only a problem if it is not known about and you go into labour.think of it another way you are so lucky nowerdays that the doctors are far more aware and equipt to sort out these things that would have caused so much unnessasary pain not so long ago.go put the kettle on before all the kids are in from school and relax everythings ok!
