hello !!
According to me i think ''the good of evil'' means that every dark side also have a brighter side & ''the evil of good means'' , every bright things have have a dark side !!
Without confusing u , let me say in short it means , each & everything in our lives have a duel effect !

Examples : ''The Good of Evil '' - We often say -''whatever happens ,happens for the best'' , yes, when something bad or evil happens to us , we recognize our mistakes & rectify them. We also recognize our true friends who are with us even in the worse of times.

''The Evil Of Good '' - We all say ''be contented with what u have '' or we often admire a person who seems so contented in life with whatever he or she has . But this ''be contented'' moral of our lives also has an evil side, that is we must not be over-contented with ourselves or we may never progess or be succeesful in life.

Hope my answer helped:)
All the Best for the interview results:)

The Good of Evil: Almost anyone would agree that war is evil. Let us look at the current American campaign in Iraq. Our governments has lied to us about the motivations, needs, purposes of the invasion. On the other hand, it has stimulated the economy by creating more jobs in the petrolium, steel, and manufactoring markets, as well as securing new rescources (oil) for the future.

The Evil of Good: It is considered good if one devotes one's life to the service of the unfortunate. In so doing, however, it could be said that one is creating a safe-haven for those who are a burden to the productive members of society and equally reducing a need for the unfortunates to provide for themselves.

"The Good of Evil" - The Nazis did medical experiments on Jews in the concentration camps. People all over the world are benefiting from that today, they get medical help they wouldn't have been able to get if it wasn't for the Nazis.

"The Evil of Good" - Mother Theresa believed that the only way to god was through suffering and she let all those poor dying people that she "helped" suffer in pain until they died, when she could have given them medications and painkillers.

Delusion is quite common. Someone thinks he is doing good when it is quite the opposite. I think man thinking he is acting in the name of God usually has this ironic satanic quality to it.
As far as the duality of good & evil goes, I think generally in this world we are operating in the grey area where we cannot do pure good so we do the best we can and that is good enough, so to speak. All things considered, we do the best we can for all who are concerned. I don't think there is really evil to it because it is the intention that matters.

Read "The Intelligence of Evil" by Jean Baudrillard, or "The Transparancy of Evil" by the same author.

From Nietzsche, "Beyond Good and Evil," or essays on 'Truth and Lying in the Extra-Moral sense.'

Sorry , I do not believe in existence of God as third person theory. So ,If I am evil , so is God and if I am nice , God is nicer .
