To answer one of your questions Mirena Coil could stop you from having periods(it effects different women different ways) It is an implant that the doctor puts into your uterus that releases the hormones to stop you from having a period. Im including a link to information about it to better inform you.
To stop having periods before your body goes through menopause is potentially dangerous though. The lining of the uterus builds up and can cause cancer, bleeding, and other problems if the excess lining is not expelled. If the doctor concludes that the lining is too thick he may have to do a D&C which is where it is scraped out of you.

Any birth control pill can be used to stop your periods. By taking only the active ingredient pills and skipping the placebo pills, the period should stop. However, this isn't something that you just do on your own, you must consult with your gynecologist first.
Some people have suggested a hysterectomy. Well, the gyn will never do such an invasive procedure just so that a woman can stop her periods. A hysterectomy is done when medically necessary.

No, thats not your problem. I think for most people it is very irregular at first. From the time I was 14- 16 I maybe got it 5 times? And when I was 17 I had it in August (which is the month I turned 17) and then not again till march 2008. Do you exercise a lot? That might be one of the reasons..another reason could just be you haven't got to being "regular" yet. I don't think you have anything to be worried about! oh I'd also get it at different times of the month every month and still do.

Hi.No,you can not stop having your period, permantley. You will have your period to the day that you are in your 60's. You will have to live to that age with your period. I wouldn't do number 1 or 2. I would just leave it way you are. If you were to get pregnant and had the number of kids you wanted you could get a histerecnyme which you want have no more kids and no more perids. But that is your choice. God made you a girl and it should stay that way.You are just going to have to live with the changes and your body and puberty which includes your period. I have not yet had my period so I know I am going to say those things too. So just live with it.

The only way to stop having periods permanently is to have a hysterectomy (remove your uterus). Be warned though if you manage to stop your periods even temporarily you might loose the ability to bear children. If you think you might want to have children some day you may want to just make the best out of the once a month messy inconvenience.

There are a few ways but the one I'm thinking of has many nasty side affects. I was on it (the depo shot) and had weight gain, horrible horrible mood swings, among other nasty side affects (you also need a bone density check since it screws with your bone health... I am now on Kariva with NO weight gain or mood swings thankfully!).
Seasonale is a pill that you end up getting only four periods a year.
I'm not sure about any others.

I'm not a doctor, but I guess that if you stop your periods permanently, then it might do something to your uterus kind of damage it, and then you mightn't be able to have kids later on in life if you want them. I know periods suck, but you might regret it later.
However, I did know someone who kept taking the yellow pills in the birth control pills and she was able to skip her period for as long as she was taking the yellow pills and not the orange ones. Please talk to your doctor, maybe he or she can help, but don't do what I suggested without asking them first.

Yes, you can get a birth control shot called depo provera which stops periods altogether for most women. I doubt you want to try taking testosterone . . . I am sure there would be side effects.
