Can anyone help. 1) I have Packard Bell Easynote MV and everytime I'm running a programme the mouse jerks across the screen and I lose total control, I have run Norton antivirus, Windows pro care and Windows removal tool, nothing helps. I have to actually switch off the computer and re-boot ( the ctrl-alt- del thingy doesn't re-boot it ). I have tried several mice, laser, trackball laser/mechanical ordinary roller and wireless but the problem persists HHHHEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPPP.
2) I have looked in the system files and attempted to disable the mouse-pad on the front but it says that it's the only synaptic pointing device and I shouldn't disable it.
3)When I'm typing text the cursor vanishes off the field and appears somewhere in the middle of previously typed text and I end up typing in themiddle of it. aaaaarrrgggggghhhhhhhhh.
4) PLEEEEAAAAASSSSSEEEEE HEEEEELLLLLPPPPPP
It's driving me fcuking insane.

1) uninstall the current driver and down load the newest driver for your mouse.
2) You can disable it in the Control Panel. System Icon, Hardware Tab, click the Device Manager Button. Scroll down to the entry "Mice and POinting devices" and double click. Then double click on Synaptics Touch Pad. On the General TAb, at the bottom, change "Use this device (enable)" to "Do Not use this device (disable)" by clicking the drop down.
Click Ok.
3) this is an effect of vibration on the mouse pad. Disabling it as in #2 will take care of this problem.
4) Relax...have a mocha.....

Sounds like someone changed settings without you knowing or you have a registry bug in the settings, I would uninstall the driver and reinstall it..
