I know this girl from college. We are in many of the same classes and have known each other for about a year. A month ago we got together for a group project for class and started to hit it off. We only just started to see each other, we didn't have sex, but we did fool around. She seemed really in to me. I thought we had the possibility to really be compatible. It happened near Easter, so a got her flowers, nothing elaborate or expensive, they were nice and in her favorite color, I also included a note. I said that I was happy to have the opportunity to get to know her and that I liked her. Anyway, she broke up with me shortly there after. She said that she didn't want a relationship, she believed that she had led me on, and to save myself for someone special. I don't know what to make of that, we never had the chance to really talk about anything before she ended it, I really liked her. Worst, she seemed completely unaffected by the whole thing.

Sounds like a good learning experience for you. Don't take it personal. Like you said she didn't really get to know you. She was obviously not ready for a relationship and so she spared you the pain of a horrible rejection down the line and stopped it now before it got too serious.

So really she did you a favour. Nice way to look at it.

It would seem that while you were thinking this was a girl you had hit it off with and that it may end up being an intimate relationship (B/F & G/F kind of deal), she was looking for a distraction and someone to have a good time with, no strings attached. When you sent her the flowers it let her know that you were interested in being more than just friends (with maybe the possibilities of benefits) she's not looking for a boyfriend, just some one to fool around with and let off some steam. She probably isn't as affected by it as much as you are. That should tell you that you were looking for different things from this relationship. She ended it because she didn't want you to get hurt.

she just obviously doesnt want to start anything, thats all.

good that she ends it before it even begins.

she make it so obvious and straight to the point....i mean, unless u want to act like a fool......or else, pls move on now, coz u know the longer u stay at this "i wonder if i can still get it on with her" thing, the more u will suffer. speaking from experience here!

hope that helps. all the best, cheers!~

She was obviously not ready for a relationship. Please don't take it personal. Try again in the future when you meet someone new that you hit it off with. Your time will come. Don't dwell on what might have been. Be yourself. The right person is out there.

There are women like these, probably testing their powers. Unfortunately some of them get hurt in the process.
