i was wondering if there was any place that i could go to online to lopk at a detailed engine diagram for my car just to familiarize myself with the names of parts before i start helping my dad make some minor repairs on it. something like a haynes or chilton's but without all of the explination and just the pictures maybe?

oh no don't get me wrong i know i need more than pictures to figure it out...that's why i leave the technical stuff to my dad, but i am just gonna be assisting him and also i'll be the one running to the store to get any parts and i just hate being cluleless and having to act like i know what the heck i am talking about.

Go on line to www.autozone.com
Go to the repair section for your car. There will be photos and descriptions.

You should go ahead and get a haynes or a chilton manual. I know big words can be a headache, but if you want to familiarize yourself with how your car works, you will need more than pictures. That car has some fairly complicated systems on it, that are not very easy to understand with just pictures.

Added: Cool. Try the autozone web site, I don't use it, but I think that they have some good info. Good luck. Oh, If you have to go after something, and you don't know exactly what it is, don't feel awkward.
