they eat hoofed animals ,and they got huge paws to run with and jump on top of them and rip their throat out with their claws

all of them could do a lot of damage when the lioness is attacking or going in for a kill. This is the way a lioness gets hurt the most. I say lioness because it is she who does the killing. As far as the male lions go, it is other rival male lions who can do most damage to the males.
