One of the most well-known examples is CCR's "Bad Moon on the Rise" where it sounds like they say "there's a bathroom on the right."

It happens alot with me and my friends when we listen to Jrock or Krock, ( Japanese and Korean Rock). There's a band called Dir en Grey and they sing in english and in the popular song " Clever Sleazoid" There are lyrics that sounded like " Rake up your brain" Which was actually " Wake up your dead" And then if you want American songs, I was listening to the song " Dancing through Life" from the musical Wicked! What sounded like " Wiping too hard" Was actually " Why think too hard?" And then there's the huge confusion with the song Popular but yeah, These things happen to the best of the best ^_^

I do that all the time "searching for a friend" was actually "searching for a ground" from the song searching with my good eyes closed by Soundgarden. Your name is my last name by the way.

Oh my God that is me. My sister use to always yell at me and tell me if I didn't know the words then don't sing. But it always sounded good to me. Now my husband has to correct me constantly. This is one area where I'm happy being blissfully ignorant.
