It depends. In some states it is against the law and to avoid such issues a person crossdressing as such must be wearing one article of clothing that "relates" to their actual gender. That law did exist in ALABAMA(I don't know whether it still does or is still enforced) and those who did female impersonation shows in bars(Drag Queens) that got ready at home did things such as wearing a jock strap underneath their dress to be able to show and avoid arrest/fines.

It is against the Law to impersonate a female if you get stopped by the police etc

I do it all the time and haven't been arrested yet. You should have to pass some sort of qualification exam I think before you are allowed to do it though.

I don't think it should be against the law if it is. Everyone has their own beliefs and preferences. let people do what they want. it's not hurting you if someone decides to cross dress. that's their decision.

You may get in hot water if you dress to sexy though.

Not that I know of, but if you go into the bathroom of the gender you are dressed as it will land you charges I believe, because you're not transsexual.
