The dresses we are wearing as bridesmaids are tea-length. I am 5 feet tall and one of the other bridesmaids is 5' 10". Our dresses are obviously going to fall in different places on our legs. Should I hem my dress and if so to what length? Is there a certain amount of inches it should be above the ground?

**I need to make a decision quick as the wedding is in a few weeks away and I would need to give the tailor time to fix it if necessary.

Get the measurements of height from the ground of each of the bridesmaids and have your dress altered to suit.~~

Take the dress to an alteration specialist(a tailor is ok if they're experianced in women's clothes- and, hate to say it, a woman is often better at judging what looks best as far as a flattering length ) Have them help you with it- they do it all the time.

You should see what the bride wants you to do. At my stepdaughters wedding, the bridesmaids wore tea-length dresses even though they were of different height. But their dresses were all different, too. Same color, but each gal picked her own dress. It worked, strangely enough.
Its the bride's day, so whatever she wants should be done, I think.

Oh my goodness! Of course. Hem everthing! You are petite and if you wear a too long dress it'll look like a sheet. Make sure to get it hemmed professionally so it'll look like it was made for you. Bridesmades dresses are tacky enough to have to wear at all, much more if they don't fit. Have fun at the event. Oh and you should wear it just below your knees, cuz a small girl should'nt wear long dresses.
