Then they have a small disclaimer stating, 'Professional driver, do attempt yourself'.
Why don't beer commercials glamorize drunk driving and post the same disclaimer?

Because the average consumer is a mental midget...and danger/excitement usually sells.

My guess is it's because we all supposedly have a 'secret fantasy' to drive fast and recklessly. The whole, top down, wind in our hair, no seat belt thing.

I don't think drinkers necessarily want to drive drunk, it just happens, plus, they are selling beer not cars. They should show people running around half naked and having sex with 'hot' strangers - then post the disclaimer stating they are not responsible for any arrests or contraction of HIV while people are wasted.

Because there are jackasses who will go out on the road and try to drive the same way. The disclaimer is only something to use in court as a defense when the idiots claim it was their fault they are in a wheelchair. You ever notice warning labels on appliances, etc?

ex - electric curling iron - DO NOT USE NEAR WATER
window air conditioner - TAKE CARE NOT TO LET UNIT FALL OUT OF WINDOW.

The list goes on and on. The disclaimers are for people without common sense - ya' know STUPID PEOPLE.

cellular telephones as others spoke back is a extensive difficulty. i take advantage of a BlueTooth and what a distinction with the "arms unfastened". I stay in Atlanta, GA and we are nicely-known for utilising quickly in the process the country. I holiday to different cities traveling and on enterprise and once I point out Atlanta it is often approximately how briskly we force. the difficulty is while somebody new or no longer regular gets into the left lane, in all risk on the cost cut back. no remember what your speed the left lane is for everyone traveling swifter, circulate OVER. do no longer check out your speedometer, or hit the brakes (extremely risky), etc., get out of ways as you're assume to do. in maximum situations there are a line of automobiles at the back of the only arising on you.

It is a marketing gimmick. They try to play with our sentiments and weaknesses. Speed thrills but kills . We drink for pleasure but we know it is harmful. It is similar here.
