heya ermm i play normal guitar and ive got a marshall amp its not a bass one but i have got a bass guitar will it still sound ok if i use me amp or shuld i buy a bass amp please help xxxxxxx

The problem with playing a bass through a guitar amp is the speaker cone travel. As you go down an octave, the speaker cone has to move twice as far. Moving the cone further than it is designed to go can cause damage. I would certainly not risk wrecking a guitar amp by playing a bass through it.
Other way round is OK. You can play a guitar through a bass amp.

U should really buy a dedicated bass amp. as a bass is much deeper and could end up blowing ur guitar amp. u could use ur guitar amp and never have a problem or u could end up blowing it the very first time u try so it isnt really worth it.
