Probably just the liquor talking, unless you were "dancing like a stripper", then.... :-)

I'd put enough distance between myself and the boy/girl friend to let them know I ain't interested.
If that's the end of it, there's a fifty fifty chance it's the liquor.
If not, face it, there comes a point when you know it's not just you. I'd discreetly say something super rude to get 'em off me, and do my best to avoid making a scene and avoid telling the friend, because we all know they're most likely going to blame it on your tipsy perception.
The real question at that point; how much is the friendship worth to you?

Figure it was the liquor and not say anything that night but I'd most likely tell him/her within the next few days.

I've been in that situation before. We often go to our friends place for the weekend up in the Country and drink and get tipsy. My hubby often hits on my friend and even I have been known to hit on her when I've been drinking.....but they are all easy going and we all laugh it off the next day!

You know drunk or not, the behavior is inappropriate...People always use acohol as an excuse...Thing is if you don't know how to conduct yourself in public when you frink then you need not drink...I don't think that your firends SO's actions should be a cause for complaint after the first time, IF he was just flirting, You do need to tell him that you don't like when he does it don't do it again and if he does it again you will go to your friend...

i would say something to the friend. even tho they were drinking...later they could say you hit on them, instead of the other way around. tell the truth up front, but explain that the other person was drinking at the time.

No just leave it. Unless she is a really good friend who is enaged or something to him. However, I would consider saying something to the person who tried to hit on you. If he accepts his mistake and whats to move on, leave it. Of coarse, if he tries to win you over, tell your friend!

I'd just get my butt to an AA meeting to try to figure out why I was drinking again, it's a selfish program.
