OK ..
14th of August 2004 ...
i was that person .. till 8th of june 2005 ..
Never lied .. Cheated since my childhood till that time ..
Did the right things.. did what others expect ( Well expection of coarse ). during that period ..
What happened exactly .. i looked back on the last week of May 2005 to what i have earned during that period ... nothing .. except i respect myself ..
Other than that .. Nobody become closer to me .. No Girls wanted me .. or just not seeming interested .. i lost many things i could acquire to help me on work , study and relationship and career ..
I was so alone .. I guess others thought i'm weired .. or just might be pretending .. and the all **** comes .. not enough money .. no real friends .. no Dates .. no promotions ..
Well .. i turned out to opposite .. and i mean opposite 100 % ..
Never be honest .. never be straight .. Always do the wrong things ( Nobody could catch me .. Although ) .. Always do what others never expect ..
I have many girls who wanna me in bed .. and wanna out with me .. have alot of friends around world .. have much more money and alot of work promotions ( and also alot of business offers ) .. and i'm enjoying every bet of it .. ( Yet deep inside .. might be i feel sad ) ..
Any way .. being perfect is so hard .. yet it is impossible .. cause being perfect make others jealous and hate you and just feeling you are not normal ..
That is real story ..
Have a great day ..
Good luck ..
..

Honesty and rationality are almost always good qualities but why did you put "do what others expect" in your question too? We know how people can be wrong and how can doing what they expect be any good and have any connection with honesty and rationality?
There is no end to it if we were to put labels on people's actions as "right" or "wrong". The only thing that can be considered is one's intensions and not their action or the outcome of their action. Just like we can't take credit for good things we might accidently do. But we can't read people's minds so we can only know ourselves.
A more useful way to say who is a good/bad person would be by looking at how they influence people around them, including themselves.

I think most if not all people have made mistakes in their life, but I also believe there are people who have reached a point in their life where they will no longer make any mistakes. My mom's cousin, for example, made one final mistake: she over-corrected her steering when she veered off the road. She's been a vegetable for the past 15 years. She'll never make a mistake again.

I think a person like that doesn't exist.
Making mistakes is part of being human, you would be human if you never made mistakes, you would be like a robot or something...
But we just have to control the amount of mistakes we makes and try to make up afterwords.

Making mistakes are just apart of nature. Everyone will make their share of mistakes in their lifetime. Also everyone will lie on occasion and even try to be credited with having all of the answers without actually knowing them. The thing for all intelligent people to know is that these are times of weakness and that we are to use these times of weakness to learn so that we make less mistakes, lie, or try to deceive other in our futures.

Nope. If you're human, you make mistakes on a daily basis. Even the best people make mistakes, it's our nature.

No, I don't think so. We have to learn just about everything we do in life. We are not born knowing hardly anything. Life is trial and error. We learn from our mistakes.

Experience would indicate that that could never happen because it is in our genes to improve our lot by refining our results through changing our manipulations of our environment to achieve better results.

There was only one perfect human on this earth. His name was Jesus Christ and he died for our imperfections. Everyone has some bit of imperfection. You just have to find some way to work around it.

Everyone makes mistakes--sometimes people try their hardest to not lie, or cheat, and they always try to do the right thing, but we are all human and everyone makes these mistakes. You can't escape it. :):)
