Make sure that you have the temporary files and cookies cleaned out (like you said you did), and also go to your history (press Control-H) and delete all of that. I don't know if that's what you meant when you said you deleted temporary files, but if it wasn't then your History is your most obvious way of keeping track of where you've been. Other than that there shouldn't be any way of him tracking you (unless he was stalking you...ooo that's bad.)

If your colleague has any expertise with computers then all he has to do is load the correct software and then he will be able to recover deleted files. In the future when you want to delete a file[s] Press Shift Before you Press Delete and Keep Pressing Shift until the Window opens informing you that the file[s] is Permently removed. If you delete the history, delete the cookies, clear the address bar, and delete the temporaty files, there is no practical way that a person could determine where you have been.
If he were to use forensic software and exterme measures, he could recover the information. But the average geek does not have the expertise to do that easily.

As long as your PC has temp files, history and cookies deleted it shouldnt be a problem...

If you're really worried, try downloading CCleaner (Google it), a great program for general PC file cleaning & covering your tracks.

clear history, cookies and temp files .. and clear recent document list too. that should help.
the desire to hide/delete means that you are doing something wrong... hahaha.. !!!!
