I assume we are going from the lil avatar - I guess that is you??
Well I think that you should feel comfortable with however you look and dress for yourself not others.
However, that said - I think thick, black heavy eyeliner does tend to look best when worn in the evenings and particularly weekends.
I think thats because its associated with going out, partying, having fun that sort of thing.
Day time make-up is usually more toned down and natural :)
Wear whatever suits you I reckon :)

You are closing those pretty eyes, because the liner is too heavy. Put a thin line over and under your eyes. Then smudge it with your finger. Above that you can put a shadow from the liner to just above the crease of the eye. Then , just under the brow, put a lighter colored shadow to meet the other. Take finger and gently smudge to blend the seam between the two shadows. Experiment with colors to see which ones look better on you. I use a medium brown with a shimmer, then a light beige under the brow.
By the way, be sure to always keep your brows groomed and plucked into a nice natural shape.
You are going to look fantastic.
Never put too much, and never let it look fake. Your makeup should be an extention of your natural beauty. When you put too much on, it makes you look like you are hiding a ugly girl under it.

It's fine if you are going for the emo look. Otherwise, I would soften the line a bit in the corners closest to your nose. Most of the time eyeliner looks a lot better when people only line 3/4 of their eye.

This is just me but, honestly a little less might be more flattering...less is more and all of that...
also, if you try a slightly lighter shade like Slate Grey or Black Plum by Bonne Bell, you'll still get a dramatic look you like but with liners that will pick up the tones in your eyes...
try not to apply a thick line around the whole eye, vary the thickness of the liner according to the eye shape...
hope this helps...

Eyeliner is awesome I never leave home with out it. Theres only one thing, don't put it on to heavy. Eyeliner can bring out your eyes. Play around with different color eyeliners. Guys really pay attention to your eyes and most guys would say something if you put to much on or not.

Instead of removing it completely, try using a thin brush and use eyeshadow for eyeliner. You can use it on the top and bottom. Then it doesn't look to thick and you still have the effects of the eyeliner. you can use any color you like to go with your outfit.

I love eyeliner myself, but it can be easy to go overboard. You have pretty eyes and the amount of liner makes them appear smaller. Try lining only the upper lid and about a quarter of the outer edge underneath each eye to help with the transition, don't use black, switch to a brown or even gray to tone it down.

It looks extremely heavy in your avatar photo. When applying eyeliner you use less on the inner part of the eye and the line becomes thinker towards the outer part of the eye.

i have big eyes and try to emphasize that so i use a little on the bottom and mroe on the top so its got that barely there on bottom. As your eyeliner is making you look like you have got small eyes i would sugeest using less. unless you like the heavy look that reduce the size of your eyes

Only apply it on your upper lash line, and not too thickly. Finish with some black mascara.
Then it accentuates your eyes, and it's not too much.
You don't want to do a raccoon look.
