I prayed for years to a cross but nothing ever happened, there was no one there to answer I reckon. I gave up on luck, and tried hard work instead

I guess its really just your mental powers working - if you think that you have a lucky charm and that it will help you- then it will.

Not for the rabbits who donate their feet. I know a hundred people who carry 'lucky'charms and they do no better than I do.
I also think there's no such thing as luck, you work hard and things balance out - no luck involved.

i think they do. i gave my then boyf a 4 leafed clover i found and he passed his driving test first time, when we broke up he gave it back to me, at this point there was writing on the paper i keep it in saying good luck to him. whenever i need luck i take it with me, but i dont get any anymore. may have something to do with the dreaded ex.

Yes. But not because they have any magical elements in them, rather your belief that having one of those charms will bring you luck. Belief over-rides luck.

And once you've poured milk on them they tend to go a bit too soggy to do anything with except eat.
