first of all, my last period was very strange. it kept going from extremely light to light and then normal for 4 days.I am now feeling nauseous almost all the time. my trips to the bathroom have increased as well and if im not in the bathroom peeing i feel the sensation as if i did go and still have to pee.i,ve been very food sensative as well. my mother cooked for me yesterday and i just couldnt eat it....it was making me feel sick but everyone else thought it was good and ate it.i took a pregnancy test about 2 weeks ago and it came out negative...some please help!! oh and by the way im expected to get my period on 25th today is the 21st.....

I had a very similar experience I had a lighter than normal period which came when it was due so I didnt think I was pregnant. Three weeks later I had been feeling tired and sick for a week so I did a pregnancy test just to rule it out and found out at a scan I was already 7 weeks gone! I wouldnt just wait to see if your period comes coz you could still be pregnant even if it does, I would do a pregnancy test now its the only way you'll know for sure. If your symptoms persist after a negative test I would go to the doctors for blood test to be doubly sure.
PS There are some really rude people out there I'd take no notice!

Well, I am 40 weeks pregnant, and my experience is this....
I definitely had the nausea and vomiting in the beginning. That all started around 8 weeks pregnant. Although, the trips to the bathroom didn't start until the baby was so big she was pushing on my bladder. I was also food sensitive. But don't think to hard about it. It sounds like you could be just coming down with a cold, or just wasn't hungry when your mom cooked. If the test says negative, sit back and if you need take one again in a couple weeks, then do it. Or go see your doc, take a more accurate test and have him check your symptoms just to ease your mind. Hope all is well and good luck with everything.

A test will tell you within minutes...well worth the expense. Your symptoms could be caused by all sorts of things....so if you are not pregnant then it 's worth a trip to the doctors anyway. I had normal periods for 5 months when pregnant with my last child - so I wouldn't rule it out completely, but tests are so sensitive these days that I think it's unlikely you are pregnant. To those who say " were not psychic", "were sick of these questions" or "were sick of pregnancy questions" my response to that is...P.ISS OFF AWAY FROM THE PREGNANCY BOARD THEN YOU MORONS!!
Right that said, you seem to have some of the pregnancy symptoms and you can have periods while you are pregnant, my advice is to re-test if you miss this period or if it is strange again, if your still unsure visit your doctor and ask for a blood test, this will give you a very accurate result. They are all symptoms of being pregnant but you wont really know until you see a doctor or do a test. you may have done the first test too early. Just be patient and wait it out.
Just a few comments regarding a couple of answers... obviously this person isn't saying my god could i be pregnant.. i should have used protection....my god what am i going to do, call me names and call me stupid because i didnt use protection, they are just asking if their symptoms could mean they are. This person could be a woman who is trying to get pregnant... hence the lack of birth control.
Secondly, if you are so sick of these questions, don't answer them... its simple. All they want is some advice from women who have experienced the same thing... so you don't speak for me and you shouldn't assume you speak for others either.

you show signs that you are pregnant, but i would wait till after you have missed your period and then do a test but wait a least 1week after the 25th just to make sure your not late coming on. Good Luck and i hope the test shows what you want to see, all the best

I'd bet that you are pregnant, but take another test to be sure. If the 2nd test still shows negative, I would go to the doctor and have a test done there too.

It is possible that you are pregnant but it is also possible you are not. Your symptoms sound a little strange for the early stages of pregnancy but the best way to be sure is to take another test.

i would go to docs....you could be pregnant-try another test, it may have been too early last time. wait a few days first though and see what happens with yr period. it could be the start of a urine infection too so either way i would go to docs as this can get very painful if left untreated. good luck!

You should wait until you miss your period. so wait until the 25th to pass. if 6 days pass and you don't get a period take a hpt. if its negative and you feel that you are still pregnant then just go to your doctor and they will do a blood test.
