by asians i mean chinese, korean, filipino, japanese, thai, etc.

because of the way they think, act, their educational habits. of all races and cultures, asians stand out the most; they are singled out because of their intelligence, hard working habits, invention of marital arts, most choose high status professions (doctors, lawyers) because they are very good at math and science and so on.

many people on yahoo! answers agree that asians are the most intelligent race............and i have to agree because i have met many and they are all very bright. i am very curious about this because though i know all humans are intelligent and can do anything they desire and work hard for, asians always stand out as doing it really close to perfect.

Hm. I am of asian descent and NO, I don't think asians are closest to perfect humans. Although their history span close to five thousand years, asians are like the rest of the human population in all manners of speaking, the good and the bad.

As for the need to 'succeed', it is a pressure that drive some to suicide. Forcing a child into an educational path for high status professions is not what I would call 'choosing'.

On the other side of the coin, yes they are hard working because they know to get a better life, they would have to. All people of different walks of life know this.

You are stereotyping a lot.

Not all of them will be hard working, martial arist doctors or lawyers.

They work hard often because there's so many of them. China makes up 20% of the global population, you have to work hard to live, because there's other people out there willing to work just as hard to take your place if you can't do it.

Their schooling sounds good on paper, but falls apart as they get jobs. Chinese children are well educated now, but they focus so much on working to land the job after all their education that then they can't handle any more pressure, they can't function. It's like the end of a marathon. And again you have to put a lot of work into schooling, because there's hundreds of thousands of other kids ready to replace you and be better than you.

They're no more intelligent, that's a myth. The only people that I know that are proven to be the most intelligent are the Ashkenazi Jews.

You meet a lot that are bright if you're in North America, because of immigration. When people come to North America there aren't hundreds of thousands of people trying to get that same job, or into that great school. There may be thousands, but not hundreds upon hundreds of thousands.

Less competition means opportunity. The immigrants can make sure their kids get ahead. They seize every chance they can, give their kids every advantage. They want them to succeed. Whereas white people who grew up here don't really care, it's routine for them, go to school, go to University, get a job, get married and so forth. They take it for granted. Immigrants don't, so they come out on top.

But don't judge an entire race, even if you judge them positively, that's stereotyping, and it clouds your judgment.

Not every Asian person will be perfect, and to think so is just to dilute yourself.

Don't assume.

yes wrong section and you will get some mean answers here sometimes if you dont agree with what they are into.

Asian people have family values most generally=they believe in the family. martial arts and the orient go together as guns were prohibited in their cultures -so they developed hand arts and in them is their nurture-to use to defend, to use in honor.

their cultures are grooming and growing-where as American culture is defoiliating and swooning. I dont like to say it I am an American.

these people for the vast majority believe in no sex till marriage-

some are very into Jesus too-in China there is a multi million underground church-they meet descreetly in homes, and the penalty for this or having more than one baby is ostrization-not sticking your head in the ground while something eats your babies. LOL but sad when you think about it-if you dont see it did it happen? Well they lose their jobs and housing under communism for belief or child relief.

David in amazing grace that saved me =John 3 repented of sin and born again -thanks -and true even asian workers work harder-and students fight language barriers and study YES STUDY while many americans go to college to drink and party and leave the first year.

that doesn't make someone perfect. In fact I see this as stereotypical and would probably be somewhat offended if i was an Asian. The "Master Race" is not a new term but it is really more of an opinion than fact. If you were to ask me I'd say the master race was somewhere on the Mediterranean sea. Such as Italy or Turkey. But do I have to back this up. Enough, but not "real" proof.

Well..... have you ever been to Asia? :)
People are people... you will find many many many Asians who don't fit in your description!

But, I have to agree that the Asian culture in general (this is a huge generalization though!) has brought up many people with a very high sense of discipline.
I really like Asia. I fell in love with it from the first time I was there. I love the way most people are, far more polite, soft, respecting others.
I think also there are many beautiful Asian men and women :))

Then again, this is all a huge generalization. There are a lot of ugly people, stupid, unintelligent, unkind, rude, just like everywhere on the world.

I also totally agree with the answerer above me. See the politics.... Birma, China, nasty!!

Like I said, people are people.

Perfect humans? You're kidding, right? Or did you just post this question to goad a handful of people. You say many people on Yahoo Answers agree that asians are the most intelligent race...which ones? The asians?

Your remarks are your opinions, which you're entitled to, even tho they are racist.

Have you ever even been to the far east? As for standing out and doing it close to perfect, the Japanese "bar girls" and 13 year old prostitutes in Thailand and the Phillipines really "stand out". What are their governments doing to protect them? What about the Chinese drowning their baby daughters because they want a son. Want a good job? Go on over to China, they'll assign you one.

They may be intelligent, hard working etc but the depression/suicide rates over there are much higher than anywhere in the world which would tend to show that they aren't a particularly "happy" people.

I suppose it depends on your definition of "perfect human".

For me, I don't think I could define something like that. Everybody is different and I would much prefer to be happy than have an "efficient" lifestyle.

Ha ha ha! Have you been to Asia? Crazy 'save face' culture, people lying in your face all day-yep they are the best. You are crazy! Prostitution rife-girls think it is ok to sell themselves to buy the family a new tv. Rich poor gap-massive. Communist leaders, Burma-mess. If these are symptoms of an intelligent comtinent then I need to look up intelligent in the dictionary. I am not saying they are bad by the way, but the patriarchal nature of the cultures over there and non questioning nature really has to be seen to be believed.

You're only exposed to industrious Asians that have immigrated here for a better life, education, etc. and are 1st or 2nd generation. Trust me they're not all so wonderful.

Why do I get the feeling this person is one of those otaku losers who constantly read manga and watch anime, therefore thinking Asia is some Eden on earth?
