I doubt anyone over the age of 20 would name a child Nevaeh. It's ghastly.

A relative, by marriage, named their little girl Nevaeh. They were young and now no longer together. Any way, I hate the name as well.

I don't really care for the name but I could thank of alot worse names out there. I have learned how this name came about. I saw on E! special on television (they had a special on unusual celebrity baby names) and they told that there was a music artist (I can't remember his name) that named his baby girl that a couple of years ago and when he announced her name the popularity shot up. So we have him to thank.

One of my mom's friends have a grand-daughter named that. When I heard that I just wanted to vomit. I am not sure what the world has come to when were are taking words and spelling them backwards to name our children.

I HATE it! If you are gonna call your baby Heaven...just do it, don't think it is cool to spell it backwards! and how do you pronounce the stupid thing anyway? Nevay or Nevah? It is another one of these stupid name trends that the parents are gonna regret someday. Like naming your baby Rainbow or something else equally as hippy-ish!

You know what it is right?? Early 90's everyone thought MERCEDES was cool.. name the girl after the car...
now its NEVAEH!!... ughh WHATS NEXT!!
You know what else i hate... everyone naming their little boys jaden! If I meet ONE MORE little boy with that name I'm going to tear my hair out! That seems like a girl name to me!!!

sounds like something a celebrity would call their child they all have stupid names. I know i called my daughter Lei-Lin but its chinese for Beautiful Jade. Nevaeh is the most tackiest name i have ever heard. Its revolting.

i don't like it either.
i named my daughter Jazmine, she was born in 1990. at the time, no other baby had the name. now it seems like every girl has her name! kind of ticks me off.
now my son's name is Chandler, i want to see what's going to happen with that.
and no, he wasn't named after that goofy show "Friends". i don't even watch it.
