I have surrounded myself with a troop of fools with 1/2 second attention spans. So I am fully used to dangling shiny objects in the general direction I want them to stare and repeat what I have to say until they are responsive.
Usually it takes 3 repeats and a set of car keys before I can figure out anything in my house.

I have to repeat myself all the time. Nobody ever listens. Then their just like huh what? I just say nvm just forget it. And I wont repeat myself anymore

Well it depends on who I am talking to - I sound like a broken record when I am talking to my kids - if the noise from the broken record amplified every time it repeated itself...

Constantly if I'm trying to talk to my Mother when her TV is on. Which is always on if she is awake.
Rarely do I need to repeat myself if talking to anyone else.
