You know what you should do during your period...just splurge on any food you want, comfort food...this should be the one week a month that its okay to eat anything. Honestly you'll probably feel better if you eat fruits and veggies...but indulge in some chocolate or ice cream! And as much fun as that time of the month isn't... at least you're healthy and well and recieve it monthly like you should. Take some pills, I like the liquid advil gel caps..they work quicker, and put on a heating pad, I always use ThermaCare they're the best for menstrual heating pads..you can put it on and go anywhere and no one knows you're wearing one... And indulge in some yummy foods...chocolate helps boost seratonin to level out your moods :) and just think in a week or less it'll be over

Aww hunni, don't worry all girls feel like this when they are on there period!, what usually works best for me if i take two pain killers and drink a hot drink sleep for a hour until the pains have gone then i keep my self busy to stop me thinking about my period. Periods are naturally and being on your period is good. Sometimes i wish i never started mine. If you really hate periods why don't you try going on the pill it makes your period much more lighter, and in some cases less painful!, Or why not speak to your doctor and ask if you can get the injection this stops your periods all together i think! Your have to ask him/her!. See what they suggest, Hunni periods are natural renumber and its your body you make the decisions!.

For the mood swings (if experiencing them) I would recommend trying B6. You can find it in a bottle by itself or as part of B Complex. You can find it in most big drugstores like Wal-Mart and also at The Vitamin Shoppe (you can order online if there isn't an actual store in the area where you live).

Do you mean your very first period? I don't see anything wrong with wearing a pad just in case. Your age is a factor also. Does your mom think it will be soon?
