Could anyone give me the excerpt in which Harry sees his parents (along with Snape) in the pensive. I've just heard about it and don't remember reading about it in any of the books. Also, it would be very kind of u to mention the name of the book (I think it is Oop, not sure). Thanks

The excerpt you are talking about is the chapter "Snape's Worst Memory" In OoP.
During Occlumency lessons Snape is called away by Malfoy. Harry, in an angry and desperate mood, decides to enter the pensieve and see the memory Snape is so anxious to hide. He finds himself in his parents' fifth year during OWLS. He sees his father, Sirius, Lupin, Pettigrew and Snape. To his surprise he finds James to be rather cocky and fond of showing off with a stolen snitch, listening only to Sirius when the latter tells him to stop. It is evident that Sirius is the only person James listens to, and together they are the most popular and arrogant boys in school. When Sirius says he is bored they gang up together to hex Snape.Then Harry's mother arrives and tells them to stop and James, who is obviously smitten by her, asks her to go out with him.
This scene shocks Harry because he realizes his father was really as arrogant as Snape had said. To Marauders fans such as myself however, the scene was an extremely enjoyable read.

I don't remember him seeing his parents and Snape in the pensive, but I haven't read them in a while. If it did happen, it would have to be in number 5 or 6 though. Check either Wikipedia or Mugglenet.com, they both have very good info on the books along with an exclusive HP encyclopedia on Mugglenet.com check it out!

He sees them in The Order Of the Phoenix during an Occlumency lesson with Snape when Malfoy comes and informs that Montague has been found in a toilet.

It is in OotP, in one of his Occulomancy (sp?) sessions. He see snape yelled at by his father and tomented by James Potter in their fifth year at Hogwarts.
