When you treat your thrush with a single pill treatment how long is it before you normally get better, and have you ever had to complete the dose again to be rid of it?

You should notice a difference in a day or two. Just drink some cranberry juice, and keep yourself clean. If no improvement, try the cream also. If still no change, book in at your doctors with the nurse. I work in a doctors, and believe me, they see everything - so dont be embarrassed!

It should be between 24-48 hrs, but sometimes the tablet on its own isnt enough so you should try the cream. I had thrush over and over recently and had to take a trip to dr in the end. Keep yourself clean, don't use perfumed soaps etc down there, wear cotton underwear. Also they say live natural yoghurt works, so you could try putting some on the affected area for relief. My dr advised this too! Hope it clears soon, i know how horrible it is! Oh yeah also if you are sexually active, it might be worth treating your partner too, as on occassions if they have it they can reinfect you during intercourse.

I was plagued with thrush, although the pessary and tablets helped, it wasn't until I made sure my partner was treated as well that I conquered the problem. Also I realised that I can't use any smellies in the bath as it just triggers it off. Hope this helps.

You should start to notice in a difference in about 2 or 3 days. If you don't notice any improvement by the end of a week I would recommend getting in touch with your dr to have them further evaluate the situation.
