Sounds like your baby is getting his/her bags packed and getting into birthing position. This is completely normal. It is called descending. Birth cannot be to far away especially considering you are 39 weeks. congrats.

It appears that way most of the time when the baby drops. It doesnt mean you will go into labor right away though.

when you go to bed at nite the baby settles and buy the time you wake up your belly seems flatter.this is common.if it stays that way its because the baby is in position to prepare for birth.if its a girl you might consider calling her eden. rose ---------good luck and a short and painless delivery
