Do you think you could kill a wolf with your bare hands?

Question

Ok this is an age old debate between my friends. Rules are A. you are in a sterile enviorment (72 degrees, dry, no sticks, rocks, guns, knives.) B. The wolf is alone. C. Don't try to expain to me that wolves are pack animals I know this is supposed to be about strength and is a hypothetical situation(obviously).
My roommates think that they could easily kill it. I believe this is a delusion of granduer and that the wolf (being a wild animal) would simply maul your face off and enjoy you as a vicotory snack. Let me know what you think. Explain your reasoning. Show your work?

BTW I'm 6'5" weigh about 210 and don't think I could take on a rabid wolf

A wolf can break a dears leg with a single bite, has a bite ten times stronger than a pit bull, has the advantage of being basically a huge walking muscle, and is equipped with weapons (claws and fangs). Mans power lies in his mental abilities, which allows us to build weapons to protect us from animals that are superior killing machines. Your friend will die, not only because he is weaker physically, but apparently mentally as well if he thinks he would kill the wolf.

What kind of clothes are you wearing? Would you have time to devise a weapon of some kind? For instance in startrek episode 43 when kirk kills the monster after finding all the ingredients of gun powder and building a boulder launcher and firing a direct blow to the chest.rendering the beast harmless.
I would say human eithier way though. the wolf would latch on to your arm and maul you... but you break one of his skinny limbs and you break his spirit. Or soccer kick the fu cking thing in the throat. Or gouge his eyes out and blind it. Human.
ADD and regardless of your size. humans are ten times stronger then they think they are. When your fighting for your life. There are 50 year old woman who have deer kicked 1000 pound polar bears off of them for hours.And lifting up cars to save their babies and this sort of thing. I think when it comes down to it. I feel I could take an alligator or a rotwiler. and I feel that both could take a wolf in a cage match.


For my group the debate is shark vs bear. I of course say bear but friends dont seem to think so.

One on one like that I see any human has the chance to kill the wolf. I feel it wouldn't be to hard but I wouldn't come out of the encounter fresh as a daisy eather. Bites would be deep but I would win.

If they go to bite shove your arm into the back of there mouth were it hinges. Teeth arn't as sharp and the bite won't be as strong depending on how you can pin the wolf with your legs from here you can rip off the lower jaw or snap its neck. There is always gouging the eyes out as well.

Yes, you should be able to rip it's jaws apart further than it can hadle, leaving it defenceless, then you break a few ribs by stomping on it, and one of them wilol pierce it's heart. Depends on how strong you are at pulling stuff apart, a wolf isn't like a croc though.
What an ugly thing to do though, such a stunning creature.

first of all we are more intelligent fighting smart will win you the battle , you can see when it comes at you kicks to the body and head if you get forced to the ground go for the eyes and the throat

if i had the element of surprise on my side i think i may have somewhat of a chance, but w/out the element of surprise (unless ur chuck norris) your pretty much screwed
