why dont you try a range of different colours, could have a black for when you go out and use a grey for everyday use. Liquid eyeliner looks great in black across your upper lashes looks more defined so why dont you try experimenting and see what looks best for you!

Hi. I have hazel eyes too but mine are more to the brownish green side. I have discovered Maybelline New York Unstoppable eyeliner.
(The one that doesn't need a sharpener)
Color is CINNABAR.

All you need to know is this
Start with your upper eyelid first. While jutting your chin out, look down with your eyes. Gently pull the lid taut and with a steady elbow placed on the counter for balance, draw an even line as close the lashes as possible. For the under eye area, reverse your chin and tuck it as close to your neck as possible. Then look the eyes up and place a lighter line along the outer edge of the eye rim as close to the lashes as possible.

Special Tips
Extend the top line a little past the corner of the eye for a Cleopatra effect.
When lining the top and bottom of your eye, make sure the lines do not meet at the corners. This has a tendency to make eyes look smaller.
Eyeliner colors, brown and black, are an ideal base color. For additional drama, add brighter colors with eye shadow instead.
When selecting eyeliner, find one that glides smoothly, but with still a firm control.
Avoid too much liner, as it will easily look contrived.
Smudge your eyeliner slightly with your finger tip for a “smokey” look.

BTW: Open your mouth when applying your liner to keep your eyes from blinking.

Ok well best thing to do w/that...is since you have brown eyes, I would go w/a black....or very dark brown eye liner! As for, u worrying about it being too dark, it will be ok. I promise. Now, when you are applying to your upper, the trick to that is...Not to use eye liner, use DARK eye shaddow....and use a brush w.a tip makes it look more Natural....Def not green, tho, green is not natural.....Go to a store, and look at kits, they have like 4 colors in one, and has eye colors in the back! SO just read and see what you like. Liquid eyeliner makes a mess and is too bloggy and if you are looking for more natural stay w/the sticks!!! and as for ur lashes, there is ones that are two sided...you apply a white base coat then cover w/black it makes them look bigger and better, I think they are like max factor or something!

considering your eyes are hazel with a touch of brown, green & grey I would suggest you use blue eyeliner. Blue would just make your eyes stand out more. The brown you're using pretty much matches with your eyes already so maybe the blue would just open up your eyes more since it doesn't completely resemble your natural eye color. Stick with the pencil, the liquid eyeliner is too messy. Good luck

If you want the poping effect, try out black liquid eye liner! Or, you can try to use a black eye-lener pencil and follow by a little touch of the dark-brown(as you used for your lower eye lashes)..

Wait a minute... you mean the eyelids or the eyelashes??

Use mascara for eyelashes. Normally the black one with special effects like lengthen or volumize will give you an unexpected good results! Try it out!

I am a Chinese and having little eyes but people could hardly notice that my eyes are actually so small :)

That's what make-up need for~*

If you have more brown in your eyes you might try a greenish color but if the green is noticable then I'd recommend a dark brownish red/dark purple eyeliner because reds and purples make green eyes POP! Be sure to wear mascara as well.

Hey - your eyes sounds goregous! I have green eyes too and find that brown liner works really well for the bottom outline ~ but for the top i like dark grey for everyday use. ( I find black smudges and because im pale makes me look like a panda! but black is definately the best colour for defining your eyes).

I love green eyeliner if your going out. Everytime I use it people comment because it really brings out the green in your eyes and makes them stand out! Just make sure its a darker green ( mine has a shimmer in it) not lime green - you dont wanna look like your from the 80'S : D.

As for the liquid liner it definately defines your eyes it just takes a steady hand & a bit of getting used too. I used to perform in dance concerts and had to wear it and apply it other girls- it looks really good if done well but it doesnt smudge to give that smoky eyes look, is quite hard to get perfect and STINGS if you get it in your eye!

I find pencil a lot quicker and easier but then again im quite lazy!

good luck with finding a product your happy with !

Well they say you should do contrasting colors.... for you, I would suggest silver or a light green to go with your eyes. I have blue eyes, so I like to use a deep blue liner, it makes my eyes look nice and yet stand out in a good way.

Try those 2 colors I suggested...I think a lightish green would look nice on you

maybe you could try a black or dark Grey of you could use the brown but use a black on the eye lid. It maybe a good idea to switch because it may work better on you eyes and it is always good o try something new.
I hope i have helped and good luck with our eye colour

okay blacks suits every skin colour, every eye colour but to look gorgeous try silver or blue eye pencil on ur lower eye lash. then try black or dark brown on upper eye. make it thick and trendy. this will make ur eye larger and attractive. and also try a combonation of silver and black on lower. and just black on top.
hope this helps
