Absolutely not! I wanted to be a GYN doctor or a Pediatrician and ended up an Accountant :o(. I wanted 1 long happy marriage and ended up with 2 long marriages: 1 absolutely horrendous and the other was okay until the end: plus 1 very short one that ended in tragedy and the other a huge mistake, thankfully not too long. So my life did not turn out the way I wanted it to. I think I let other people make my decisions for me...big mistakes! I was young. Learn as you go!
