I know several African nations that should be very ashamed of the history of genocide & slavery their nations represent. Their nations have a very rich history of genocide & slavery, especially in modern history. Today these numbers are larger than many western nations throughout all of history.
Most westerners who complain about the west's bad history don't know this though... they think they're incredibly tolerant but fail to realize they're so ethnocentric that they can't see past their own people's history to learn about the history and problems of others.

Every nation of the world perhaps has had its darkest moment in history, but only a few has the wisdom to take it into account and let it be remembered for the benefit of the coming generations, hoping that they would take the lessons of history itself and avoid it from happening again. Most chose to omit those incidents just to project the image that they are truly righteous in all of their past undertakings. It is the responsibility of every citizen of every nation to be mindful of their nation's true past and try to be part of uplifting their national heritage for a better future, while NO ONE can truly judge someone Else's country whether positively or negatively regarding their past actions.

I don't know the answer to that but I do know....
that Columbus didn't "discover" America,
(it was a thriving land filled with Natives who respected the land and lived in harmony with it's creatures)
and at Jamestown, english settlers "befriended" the natives who kept them from dying from weaknessess incurred en route......
and then the english promptly stabbed them in the back once they got a foothold in the land...
and moved them to reservations where they could rot peacefully (while selling them liquor)
shame for shame for shame

I think every country has something in its past to be ashamed of. At certain points, every nation has been aggressive, defensive, or passive to a fault, and either directly or indirectly caused suffering.

The United States of America is weakening the cherished US Constitution for convenience and I am not interested about the world right now.
Ordinary Americans can be fired with creative legal language and rich people and business are well protected by the US Courts to include the US Supreme Court.

None.
When it was just blunders and slip-ups with human errors created back in the past with ghostly stories from the graveyards of different ancestor's custom.
Since we know the mess.
Just correct it.
Instead of continuing living in misery in own backyards.
