People who think that way are somewhat egocentric. Assuming that the world revolves around them and that the world even gives a sh-t about their lives.

Their gaurded for some reason an early trauma it dosent need to be severe ,but it sets the pattern for suspcion .
As a child about 3 years old some boys cam along and said if i gave them money they would bring me back sweets , they didnt , Ive decided to punish the world by not trusting it . And every time iv'e let down my guard Twice |Iv'e been let down -

And you only have to read the papers to know what excrement most people are you cant trust them as far as you can throw them .
I think your friend is very wise not to trust one is angry with the ones that let one down but also angry at onself for trusting them

Because they might have lived in a very hostile enviorment before, where they had to be aware 24/7 to be able to survive....some habits you learn early on in your life are hard to let go....

i would say maybe because they have had many people do them wrong and they have trust issues. i know that i think that friends are sometimes treating me unfairly when they arent, and that i always think that people around me are talking about me. but if you find out and interesting info, let me know!
