If you are referring to PCI and not PCI-express, then your PC is not good for gaming. The PCI slot is a good interface for most peripheral devices except graphics card. PCI is now TOO SLOW for most 3D applications. Putting a newer PCI graphics card (expensive) is just an exercise in futility. The PCI slot will just slow down any good graphics card.

NO WAY you could use that AGP card except in a mobo w/ AGP slot.

You have to buy new graphics card or a new motherboard, that is for sure..

but this time, know before you buy..

almost all motherboard has agp slots nowadays.. and motherboards are cheaper now compared to the last few years..

but new generation of graphics card (PCI Express) are made for pci slots..

if you already bought i, try to return it to the vendor or just sell it to a friend. then go get a new card.. good luck and have fun..

You can't insert an AGP videocard in a PCI-e motherboard. Most motherboards have 1 slot to add a videocard and they HAVE to be compatible(AGP, PCI-Express, PCI) If you really want that videocard when you buy a new motherboard make sure it has an AGP 8X slot, otherwise buy a videocard that is PCI-Express.
