As a stay at home mom, I feel my only purpose in life is to cook, clean, take care of kids and do everyones laundry. Do you ever feel unappreciated and bored with life?

Yes I do, but it's more the lack of a partner, not an emptiness.
I believe what is happening to you is called drowning in the milk of feminine kindness.
You feel uninspired.
Perhaps you have sacrificed to many of your own hopes or dreams and now your feeling the results of that.
A person with no dream is always going to feel empty, because their life doesn't feel like it's their own.
They live day to day in a funk.
Do you have time to work on something you always wanted to achieve?
If not, making time might be what you need.
As a child of a mother who sacrificed too much, I'd like to say thank you for such dedication. However as a person with a dream, I have to say, don't Ever give up on yours.

yes l have felt that way, sometimes l go to work and l wonder is this what life is all about wake up in the morning schedules for the day everything timed pay at the end of the month, fill your weekends with activity and on on,,l guess we just are kept sane by good feelings when we have loved ones around us who make us feel needed , stick to that you will never go wrong

Yes, I work the graveyard shift at a motel. I don't see anyone usually, then I go home and sleep alone. I am bored and lonely a lot of times! But at least I have my animal friends!

Yes, I have been off work for a while and I am starting to go crazy. But hopefully I will find a job soon and after that find a man...lol.

well im a 26 yr old guy and i feel empty all the time...and totally bored with life... its not like i dont have a skill... i jus dont wanna use it anymore........... !! i dont blame anyone for ths...... its all me im aware..... since u asked i answered is all..... hope ur life feel more meaningful in time though and come to think of it wat ur doing requires a lot of bloody responsibility and strength... so according to me ur good to go... jus as well...... good luck :)

Yes.It happens.I feel bored.But never empty.I feel completed.Thanks to dreams,happiness,friends(and maybe more) make my life so complete and worth living.

i always feel empty, though i have wonderful family & loving babe.... since my mom died, a big part of me has disappeared. she took it w/her & nothing will ever bring it back
