get a lawyer and you should win the case by default, meaning you will get everythign you ask for. your lawyer will probably advise you to run an add in the paper announcing your case in the paper, if your wife does not respond within a certain amount of time - set by law.( which it doesnt sound like she will) you will win the case by default. the legal fees should be minimal with no property or custody to fight over.

No he won't leave his wife of 30 years when he is having his cake and eating you too. Excuse the wording. But that's what I think. You are a fling when he is out of town. Give him the ultimatum and see if I am right. Don't put out unless he is going to put in. And that doesn't mean, you know what. If he's going to give something up for you than maybe you've got something. But I seriously doubt it.

as long as the divorce is not contested and neither of you are fighting over property, you can get a divorce for very cheap! You do not have to worry about children, property, etc. and you do not have to live in the same state. File in your own state...no attorney necessary. The paperwork gets sent to her and she signs. It is called a dissolution, when you agree to divorce and not fight over physical things. Mine cost around $750 and we had children and property in two states. I live on the OH/PA border....should be less for you. Good luck!

well if you got no property and no kids the best bet would be an uncontested divorce once she signs it she doesn't even have to show up at the courthouse.its the cheapest mine was in the 400's but that was in 95

See if your local bookstore has do-it-yourself divorce kits. We have this in BC in Canada, but I'm not familiar with the various state laws in the U.S.

Yes. A paralegal can usually file all the paperwork for you. If you don't know where she is, it's a little tougher. They'll provide instructions.
