I would say that the guys who do leave the "nice girl" may not looking for a serious relationship.

Same reason girls leave the nice guys. When both get more mature, most stop looking for superficial attraction or excitement and start looking for real character.

I think it's nothing personal and doesnt happen between all guys but if it does it would most likely be because there always so distracted by what they dont have and (dont need) to see the good and perfect for them girls right under neath there noses.
