My religious beliefs, the way I think of relationships, and now I believe people in general are so fakey.
Had a bad experience 7 years ago. Lost my job, house and my marriage from the above.

I believed all people are inherently good and well meaning/intentions. I do not believe this now, because I have learned the hard way that even the nicest/sweetest looking/sounding people can be unscrupulous and deceitful. I now believe that "actions speak louder than words." Sweet words don't mean do-do, what you do says everything about who you are and what lies in your heart.

That when you take a woman for richer/for poorer, it is NOT until death do us part so help me God. I am now divorced twice with both ladies backing out with no honor whatsoever.
I now have a new girlfriend who's serious, and she's been through the ringer too. This should be interesting. Especially since we both gave up on Christianity as it didn't help any of our marriages.

I believed my future husband was the one, real love and he was a good person who would treat me well. I would be married one time and have a happy marriage unlike all the people who get divorces. We even told each other that we were going to show all those others how to do it right. We were not going to be one of them......Well we are, divorcing after 9 yrs.....lol

That the constitution guaranteed that lawmakers would protect its citizens with a secure border - especially after 9/11.
