I spotted a fly at a distance being pursued by a spider.
I was puzzled as the fly kept walking faster instead of flying off.
I approached to get a better view.
The fly was wingless. It got ate by the spider.

I am not a bug lover, and I will squash a fly on any given day, but your story stirred unexplained emotions within me. That poor fly!!! :( I would call it capoop (cacoon of poop). Because really, that's what it is without its wings.

A walk? That's funny! Flies without wings must simply be called critters or skitters. Stupid bugs. Flies need to become extinct...along with mosquitoes and gnats.

I would say that you should stop pulling wings off of flies. Curious though - if you pulled only one wing off - would it fly around in circles?
