I usually feel a happy sadness when it rains. I don't know why, maybe because life itself resembles a kind of storm that carries us along. Or maybe I am less active when it rains and I stay under shelter with time to reflect. Memories of childhood tend to come back when it rains.

I use Frontline on my pets to keep the fleas at bay. I have to try to keep them dry and out of the rain for 2 days after applying it. I usually apply it every 2 weeks.
So I guess the first thing that goes through my mind is 'when did I last apply the Frontline' and 'are my pets inside or out'?
Little things like 'do I have washing on the line' or 'did I leave any windows open' also go through my mind.

More sleep. The sound and smells of rain is mesmorizing to me. It's spellbounding and allows me to have a deeper, more restful sleep.

i think of how lonely i am and how i wish i was with my hubby so he could hold me
we both work, different shifts, so we are not home together when it rains most of the time
