F'n Sony!!! I hate the whole lot!! Anyways (LOL)...
He's not into confrontation, I take it. Don't get defensive just yet. Suggest times away from the house ("Date Night" or whatever you two enjoy. Be sure that it's something that will hold his attention as well.) He has to be PHYSICALLY away from a video game console!
Do this a couple of times, then tell him "Hey, I have this problem with the video game use...I know you de-stress from it, blah, blah, blah. Reason should take you farther than physical violence on a machine.

Was married to someone like that once, did not like it a bit.
How to cope with it?
I tried and I found myself a hobby, something that took me out of the house and away from her.
But it back fired at me, she did not care one way or the other. needless to say I got divorced.
Now I am married to a wonderfull woman who is as I am, very much into togetherness and we do most things together yet give each other enough space to breath. But I am never second neither he she.

Have you ever tried the game? Maybe you will like it. If that does not work, stop doing all the things in the house, stop cooking cleaning and other things, wait for YOUR needs to also be fulfilled.

Trun off the electronic day!
Once a month my spouse and I truned off the phones, tv, radio and had a sit down with ourselves and family!
