As a Christian I often do. I lead worship on our church and sometimes in the middle of my song or prayer I feel warm air on top of my head (the A/C is always pointing at me on the stage). I go on praying or singing and I feel a sense of peace and sadness at the same time... I end up in tears when this happens. I often say to the people "we are not worthy... but because Christ died on the cross. He has given us the chance to correct our ways by believing in Him and continuously loving Him.
God is omnipresent - means He is everywhere. If you want to truly know God. Read the Bible and search within yourself your shortcomings and ask for His forgiveness. Then if you accept Him in your life you will meet Him.
God answer prayers. I will pray for you. God bless.

The Absolute or God cannot be felt by the senses. This state lies well beyond the body/mind complex, which can also be viewed as ego and sensory perception. To realize the Absolute, the body/mind mechanism must be transcended. The relationship between consciousness and the Absolute can only be understood on a cellular or intuitive level. This condition is the highest knowledge and there is nothing you would not understand about the nature of consciousness, and ultimately, our reality. If you think you know God through the mind/body (senses etc), you have not understood the highest knowledge. The concept of calling God him must be dropped. The Absolute (God) permeates all, and fills everything from within and without. Therefore, God is everything and is the nameless, formless catalyst which gives light to the manifest consciousness that we refer to as life. The human tendency to identify themselves as a mind, a body, this thing and that thing, has cloaked the ultimate reality.

God is not a material object which can be caught through sensory perception. You can meet somebody or visit a place, or acquire an object that is separate from you. You are God in a minuscule manner. Man is Micro God and God Macro man. The very center of your being is God. Godliness in you is consciousness and life. A man separate from God is a Corpse. You cannot meet him. You can become God intoxicated by either complete and total surrender called Bakthi, or by Jnana which is devoted study. Enquire as to what are you and where are you. When you can get out of time and space, then God will feel you. You cannot feel God. God is so huge bigger than the Cosmos cannot be met. He will consume you if you totally surrender or deeply enquire. ATB & GBY

Hi Mate,

This is my Business Partner's opinion on feeling god.

According to his statement, you can find god only by 3 ways.

1) When drinking (But this is a temporary one. If the alcholol wears out, then you come back from heaven).

2) When having sex (You see god in the face of the woman when you reach the climax, but this is also temporary since you cannot be having an orgasm at all times.

3) By doing meditation (This is the permanent method to reach god)

What option do you choose?

God is everywhere, what we do as a people wrong, is we look at all the negative, and go, "How is there a God?" "Why would God allow this to happen?" When really, we forget that God gave all humans free will....Evil is free will.

Look at nature, look at trees, look at animals, look at babies, and go, "How can there not be a God?"

Yeah molecules started it...we grew from less superior species...but think about it...how did it all get here?

In all of the vastness in the galaxy, you would think...someone...somewhere, has there eye on this place.

I have felt God...he is everywhere...he lives in the kindest of souls...he lives in every house hold....everywhere.

When you find the Spirit within you and your GOD, I wish you all the joy in the world.

The journey to salvation is a personal one, and no matter which way you turn, the simple request to be "saved by God" and the belief that you have is enough to get you into Heaven. Feel better? Now act on that spirit and follow the 10 commandments and inspire others to be closer to their God. That is a healthy spiritual person.

I found mine by a lifetime of theological studies and attendence to many different cultures and religions.

I found the "faith/religion" of my forefathers was not the one for me and broke free from that, and it was painful to all that did not see GOD in the same light as I did.

I believe in Christ and many other forms of him, it is not my place to judge the "face of God" and they ways other believe in him. I am blessed to be only human and a child of God.

Take your journey and love the paths of redemption, the lessons learned will not always be pleasent, yet the reward of the gift of knowledge is its own blessing.

Ihaven't felt God with any of my senses. While I was attendig a small country church, I felt a calling within my soul . I went to the altar and surrendered all my preconcieved notions of God I came as achild trusting in the tuth of the gospel of Jesus the Christ. I then felt a pure fire in my chest. After that I returned to my pew with a peaceful knowledge of salvation.

Which god do you want to meet? The Jewish one, Muslim, Christian, one of the Hindu gods, or perhaps the god of one of the minor religions?

Christian god, you say? OK. The Catholic one, Protestant, Orthodox, Southern Baptist, Mormon, or one of the gods of the hundred other Christian denominations?

People will say they're all the same god, and yet each religion, denomination, and even individual describes their god differently. To say that these are all the same god is like saying you and I are the same person. So, WHICH god you want to "meet" is entirely up to you. Which one do you want to believe in?

If none of the above suits you, you can also make up your own god like the others did. You can have an angry, vengeful god or a loving, compassionate god. You can have a god that tolerates questioning minds or one that sends unbelievers to eternal torture. You can have one that created the universe then stepped back and let it run itself, or you can have a god that micromanages every last detail. You can have a god that hangs on your every prayer, or one who charges you to be entirely responsible for your own life. You can have a god that allows you to live as an example to others, or one that requires you to convert as many others as you can like the Borg.

Have you picked out a god to believe in yet? Great. Next, you'll need to ask yourself WHY you want to believe. Is it because you've been unable to find meaning in your life yet? Are you looking for answers to Life, the Universe and Everything? Is it because liberal politics and godless science scare you? Are you feeling lonely and wish you had someone to talk to about your problems, maybe even someone to solve your problems for you? Are you afraid you might not be living your life in the "correct" manner and might end up in one of the above god's hells after you die? Or perhaps your friends & family or some member of the clergy has told you you're a bad person if you don't "find god?" Maybe you're just looking to belong to something bigger than yourself? Or maybe you're just casually curious, and want to experiment with religion the way some people might be curious about trying drugs? Perhaps you're looking for affirmation for your lifestyle or morality?

Do you see where I'm going with all these questions? Good, because I don't. I'm just an atheist, so what do I know about religion? I've never needed to believe in gods or religions, nor seen any use in believing in them. I also reject each and every religion's claim that it and only it is the One True Religion worshiping the One True God. I see religions as fulfilling certain needs in believers, and to that extent I think some people probably need religion. But as to which road you choose, I'll leave you with the words of Gotama Buddha:

"Doubt everything. Find your own light." Those were, by the way, his final words.

God can be proved with a logical mind and a faithful heart. Those are the "senses" needed. The other 5 are not strong enough.
